June was born and raised in northern Ontario Canada and has been quilting most of her life. June studied Fashion Design at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, and has been a lifetime learner in sewing and quilting. June moved to Maryland in 1997 and lives in Catonsville with her youngest son and Sadie, the friendliest Beagle in Catonsville. June regularly enters quilts in the Maryland State Fair and has received many ribbons. The judge’s comments keep her improving her skills and She inspires others to improve their skills. The mood in her classroom is always light and fun, her laugh is contagious, and her teaching style exudes calmness.
June has taught quilting and sewing for several chain sewing and craft stores and several guilds in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. June teaches both sewing and quilting at Howard Community College and at Pikesville Senior Center.
