Go beyond all-over quilt designs and start designing your quilting. Using pre-planning, you will
learn how to measure, mark and stitch custom borders. Rulers will give your borders definition,
and free motion will fill the extra space. Single spaces are not limitations. You can go beyond
what your piecing created as you expand your stitching area to create designs.
You will use a solid colored quilt sandwich, marking to create borders. Generic colored thread
will be provided in class.
The student will be working with a Bernina Educator in a sit down long arm machine with stitch regulation provided by Danners Bernina. 2 students will share each machine.
