Teri has enjoyed a lifetime of sewing and has been a quiltmaker since 1983.
Teri refers to herself as a contemporary quilter. She loves traditional techniques and hand work but likes to create wonderful quilts using them in new ways. Why reverse applique a tiny heart when you can splash reverse applique feathers across the entire quilt?
An award-winning quilter, Teri is also a much sought-after instructor. She exudes energy, passion, and creativity. Teri has written 5 books. The first four were published by The American Quilter’s Society: Applique in Reverse, Home Sewn Celebrations, Bag It! No-Sew Gift Bags and Thread Portraits. Her newest book, Thank You Elizabeth is self-published. Teri also owns and operates www.teritope.com an online business that features over sixty-five of her original and delightful patterns. This Buckeye lives in Gahanna, Ohio, with husband Tim, three daughters, Andrea, Erin, and Hannah, and five of the cutest grandchildren ever!
