Housing
Dorm Housing:
Dorm rooms
Dorm rooms are exactly as expected! They have a shared common area, i.e. living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The kitchen has a microwave and refrigerator available for your use. There are individual bedrooms off of the shared area. The dorms are great for groups that want to spend time together when not participating in activities. Many singles also choose the dorms because they are closest to the dining facility, classrooms, and the CUB ballroom. We try to place singles with other singles or as an addition to a group.
***The Beds in the Apple Dorms will be set up in Loft configuration. The dressers will be underneath the beds and the beds will be approximately 36″ off of the ground. If you are not able to navigate this configuration, please click the check box to request a room Not in Apple Dorms. Beds will not be lowered for any reason, by order of the fire marshal.
Motel Style
Just like the dorms, the name says it all…motel. The motel rooms have a single bed (occasionally 2), desk with chair, microwave, small refrigerator, and a bathroom. This choice is for someone that wishes to house alone or with one other person. There are limited numbers of rooms available and will be assigned on a first registered basis. If you register for a motel and there are no more available, you will be contacted and given the opportunity to house in a dorm room.
***Please be aware that the motel rooms are the farthest away from the classrooms, dining facility, and the CUB ballroom. If you have limited mobility, you may wish to opt for a dorm room.
As mentioned in the FAQs, this is a college facility. There are no linens (towels, washcloths, bathmats, sheets, pillow cases, or blankets) provided. Please bring the necessary items to make your stay comfortable.
