Choosing the right finish – whether it is a traditional binding, flanged binding, or facing – is the final touch for fabulous quilts. Preparing quilts for binding, several binding methods including flanged, and facings are covered. This class is best for quilters who have previously bound at least one quilt. Binding techniques will be practiced on placemats. Each participant can bring in an unbound quilt for a group consultation session for selecting a binding method. These are skills that will be used on every quilt!
