Shibori Dyeing creates patterning on fabric by binding fabric to form a dye resist. Fabrics may be twisted, folded and clamped, wrapped around poles and ropes and even hand stitched to create a multitude of patterns. Overdyeing with different resist techniques and dye colors produces wonderfully complex fabric designs that are unique to each student. Come explore the many ways of creating patterns and dye your own beautiful, one-of-a-kind Shibori-style fabrics.
