Make a one of a kind reversible apron using an unfinished quilt top that will never be finished (for whatever reason). You will need the quilt top to be at least 42″ square. If you have such a thing in your repertoire, bring it or make it ahead of time. If you don’t happen to have any, bring some unfinished blocks & pieces and we’ll make one! You will also need 1 1/4 yards of printed fabric for the other side of the apron. If you’re into upcycling, you could even bring a square cotton tablecloth. Antique tablecloths are wonderful for this! To us, spots and stains are just part of their history. Besides, you’ll be making spots & stains on it when you use it anyway! We will use Mary Mulari’s “Criss-Cross Apron” pattern for this class. If you don’t have it, your instructor will have a few that you can purchase for $9.
