Joan Radell
Sunday
Learn an innovative technique for making a lined tote bag that’s so simple and efficient you’ll be able to complete two bags (at least!) in one class day! Joan’s at it again with a fresh, logical approach to a classic design. The Boxcar Tote features webbing handles reinforced with rivets, a set in, flat bottom and is fully lined. The pattern is available in three sizes: a small 10” x 3” size perfect for use as a gift bag or storage bag in your sewing room, a 12” x 4” size that will take you from the farmer’s market to the beach with ease, and a big 14” x 5” size that makes a perfect bag for postal parcels heading out your door or groceries heading in! Choose the two sizes you want to make; the supply list has fabric and interfacing for all three sizes.
