This class is a non-sewing “Quilter’s Choice”, you can choose any of the Laura Heine designs from her
standard size to one from her “Teeny Tiny” collections. If you choose an Eeny Weeny or Whatever series
pattern, you will likely be finished before the end of a full day class.
Designs not covered in this class are Laura’s strip method such as Abilene (cow) or the Guardian Angel,
her BoHo Blooms which is a machine applique process, and, the use of intenese pencils or paints to further
embellish your collage.
During the class you will spend most of the time learning how to create the quilt top. Our concentration
will be on the creation process, tracing methods for large areas, placement techniques for motifs, layout
and construction methods for the background and finally the quilting and binding. In class you
will concentrate on the main element of your collage and will have all the tips and tricks to complete
your Collage at home.
