Instructor: Jo Ann Lepore
The Old Italian block is a traditional block known by are than one name. Anita Grossman Solomon published a quick method for making the block in her book entitled, Rotary Cutter Revolution. I began to experiment with her method, creating blocks, and took her directions a few steps further. It is a stack and cut method that can be easily manipulated to create various and fabulous designs. Take this class to learn to cut and machine piece sample blocks in each of the different sizes (from 4” to 10” finished blocks). A gratifying block that you will enjoy creating and adding to your treasure chest of tricks for blocks that can be used universally.
